MUSIG Presents: Surgical Lecture Series - Surgery in the Developing World
Do you have a passion for surgery? Are you curious about what it is like to provide surgical care in under-resourced countries? Then the upcoming Surgery in the Developing World event is for you!
MUSIG is teaming up with the Ignite Global Health Group, a student-run initiative at Monash University that aims to improve health in developing world communities. This event will be an opportunity for medical students to gain a personal insight into the challenges faced in providing surgical care in third world countries. Speakers will present their experience in providing surgical care in under-resourced countries, the challenges they faced in performing surgery overseas and how their experience has influenced their career back home.
